So there you go. Two pages took me about a week and a half of not-so  work. Sometimes I really had to pull myself out of my lazy zone to get some of it done. On other days, I was really enthusiastic (especially on the first days of my project. But in the end, I found that listening to music was the best motivation.

Finishing all of the draft will take up approximately another page and a half. And since I start work in two days, it could take up to two weeks or more.


The real copy will have much larger and very detailed images which will require mastering the art of proportion and perspective (which needs a lot of uuh... mastering). It will take a really long time. A couple of months if I put my heart into it.

For the music, I've chosen Simple And Clean by Utada Hikaru, the PLANITb remix, or as others know it, the intro to the Kingdom Hearts game Re: coded. The normal version is pretty good too, but much too relaxed and it's really long. Odd that I enjoy music from video games, that's usually my brother's type of thing. It sounds nerdy. But seriously, it's a good song.

I think I need to change the font of the writing for this blog because I find it really hard to read.

I  think I need to do some excercise...

About the story of my project:
The story kinda comes to me as I write, I guess. You should read this if you can't tell what's happening in my uuh... drafty drawings.
So, it's this one girl who I think is in love with that guy. She reaches for his hand but a mystical power stops this! And then there's a big boom and she gets thrown away from him. Then she gets engulfed by a black hole or something???

She's falling...

She stops falling and starts levitating. Yay! She sees two doors; a dark one and a lighter coloured shaded one. Which one does she pick? The dark one! Hehe... She opens it with some sort of beam she generates from her hand. Maybe she has some magical powers???

Next page...
She's gone through the door and has arrived in a dark room. And she sees the guy! She runs over to him he vanishes into what I think are soap bubbles. After crying a bit, she generates with her hands (again) a pool (which took me a very long time to draw) in the shape of a leaf and jumps in it! A tad freaky perhaps?

She arrives in this place where there is a path and some hills in the background ( I decided to change the decor a bit). She creates a map indicating where her loved one is. He's quite far away so she decides to transform into a bat??? Okay, she's definitely a sorceress. So she flies over to him at very high speed.

But what do you know? He's turned bad and attacks her with an energy bomb that drains her of her bat powers. So a wizard too? And I've added some red in his eye to prove he's evil. The girl gets back up after falling and runs over to him but the guy stops her and throws her to the ground. She holds up her hand and makes an energy bomb that drains him of his evil. Deja vu.

So that was it, told in a rather boring way (well, at least, I got tired of it). Trust me, it sounds better with the music.

I'm not gonna give away spoilers today. And I really don't feel like it; my neck hurts and I ate too many chips. Until then!
